Huge boost for roofing company with £1.5m of new contracts
Architectural metal roofing and cladding company T R Freeman has announced new contracts totalling just under £1,500,000.
The Cambridge company, based opposite Cambridge United, has a series of new contract wins.
They include a £450,000 order for single ply on a major homes development, and a £150,000 Kalzip roof on a school extension.
Gary Webb , the managing director of T R Freeman, said: “We may be officially out of recession but the reality is that construction growth is still to return.
“However T R Freeman is punching above its weight. We’ve worked very hard to win these new contracts, and look forward to working with all the contractors.”
He added: “One of the contracts is the biggest order yet for our single ply division, which was only set up last year. It indicates that T R Freeman is going to have a great 2010.”
Some of the orders include:
• Grahame Park, Barnet, London: £450,000 of single ply on a new housing development. Countryside Properties is building 2,977 new homes over 15 years. 35% will be affordable housing
• St Mark’s Church of England Academy, Mitchum, Surrey: A new Kalzip nature roof worth £150,000 for this school extension
