T R Freeman announces new roofing contracts worth £650,000+
Architectural metal roofing and cladding company T R Freeman has announced a series of new contracts totalling more than £650,000.
Among the new orders just secured by the Cambridge-based company are a major new apartment block being constructed in Islington, and a new retirement home.
The announcement marks a great start to 2011 for T R Freeman. The company had an excellent 2010 thanks to its reputation in the industry.

“We have worked with hundreds of different contractors and continue to receive orders from the majority of them. A T R Freeman roof is a mark of quality, and we are delighted that more contractors have decided to work with us.”
The new contracts just announced are:
• A £560,000 contract to install a Kalzip roof on a new apartment block in City Road, Islington, for contractors Ardmore Group
• An £85,000 zinc roof on a retirement home being constructed in Castledene Road, London, by contractors Hill Partnerships
• An unusual £25,000 project cladding 2 towers in copper in Pitsea, for Bramall Construction
T R Freeman Ltd was formed in 1887 and is now part of the well-known Kershaw Group.
The group employs just under 200 people with a turnover in excess of £35 million.
It is heavily involved in the local community, including a record-breaking 10 year sponsorship of Cambridge United’s away shirts.
