Monday 20th August 2007 T R Freeman shows expertise with seven schools projects
Expert metal roofing and cladding contractor T R Freeman is proving its expertise in schools, with involvement in seven different education construction projects.
The 120-year-old Cambridge firm has completed four projects in the last few months.
And it’s part-way through three others.
Managing Director Gary Webb said: “The metal roofing materials that we work with are becoming more and more popular in school construction projects. They look great, are hard wearing, and so are a cost-effective solution.
“We’re delighted to be working on so many schools projects. It proves that T R Freeman continues to develop its expertise in these specialist areas.”
Recent school projects completed by T R Freeman include:
• Charlton Park School, Charlton Park: A £400,000 Kalzip and copper project for Higgins
• Moulsham High School, Chelmsford: A traditional copper project completed for Farrens worth £100,000
• Perse School, Cambridge : A Kalzip and copper project for Haymills worth £100,000
• The Royal Ballet School, Richmond: A traditional copper project, the second phase of a very successful earlier phase for Haymills. Worth £150,000
And the firm is currently working on:
• Emmanuel School, Nottingham: A large Kalzip project for Laings. T R Freeman is expecting this to be one of the highlight projects of the year
